Things to See in Ireland

Ireland is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. There are so many things to see and do in Ireland, and they are all within easy reach. Here are just a few of the main attractions:

1. The Cliffs of Moher: This is a must see if you are visiting Ireland. It's located about an hour and a half south of Dublin. The cliffs are over 600 feet high and you can walk right along them or take a cable car ride. The views are amazing and it's definitely worth seeing.

2. Blarney Castle: You will be amazed at how much this castle has been restored since it was built in the 14th century. It is now a stately home and a museum. It is located near Cork city and you will need to take a tour bus to get there.

3. The Ring of Kerry: This is another must see in Ireland. It is a circular drive around the entire coastline of the country. It is a great place to go hiking, cycling, and walking. You can also rent bikes for the day and enjoy the scenery.

4. Killarney National Park: This is a very popular park and is home to a lot of wild animals. You can see deer, foxes, badgers, otters, and even a couple of eagles. It is located about an hour and a quarter south of Dublin.

5. The Dingle Peninsula: This is a great area to visit. It is located about 2 hours from Dublin. You can take a ferry to get there, or you can drive there. It is a beautiful area and the locals are very friendly.

6. The Burren: This is another area that is very popular with tourists. It is an area of limestone cliffs and rock formations. You can see the remains of ancient buildings and castles. It is located about an and a half hours from Dublin.

7. The Aran Islands: These islands are located off the coast of Galway and are a great place to visit. They are very remote and are only accessible by boat or plane. The locals are very friendly and they speak Gaelic which is similar to Irish.

8. Glendalough: This is a small town in the Wicklow Mountains. It is a great place for a picnic and is surrounded by green fields. You can see the ruins of a monastery that dates back to the 6th century.

9. The Cliffs of Mohers: This is another must see. It is located about an hours drive south of Dublin. You can walk right along the cliff tops or take a cable car ride.
