Foods From Ireland
When I was growing up in Ireland, I was told that it was an island of green and pleasant land. In fact, my mother would often say, "I'm going to take you there some day." And when I asked her what country she meant, she would reply, "Ireland!"
Well, I'm here to tell you that Ireland is indeed a land of green and pleasant land! The people are friendly and warm. The scenery is breathtaking. The food is delicious. And the music is fantastic.
The Irish have always been known for their love of good food. When I was in Ireland, I learned that they are very proud of their culinary heritage. And this pride has led them to create some incredible dishes.
One of the most popular dishes is the Shepherd's Pie. It's made with ground lamb and potatoes and topped with a sauce made from onions, tomatoes, peppers and spices. This dish is also very easy to make. You can even do it in your own kitchen.
Another great Irish dish is the Oxtail Stew. This stew is made with oxtails and vegetables. It's cooked slowly for hours so that the meat becomes tender and flavorful.
The Irish are also famous for their traditional desserts. My favorite is the Carrot Cake. This cake is made with carrots, raisins, nuts, honey and spices. It's baked in a round pan and then decorated with a simple icing.

If you're looking for a place to visit while you're in Ireland, try the Cliffs of Moher. This area is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Ireland. You can walk along the cliffs or go rock climbing. There are also plenty of other things to do in the area as well.
If you want to get a feel for Ireland's culture, you should attend a Gaelic football match. These matches are played between two teams that represent the counties of Ireland. If you like sports, this is a must see event.
While you're in Ireland, don't forget to try the local cheese. I'm talking about cheddar. Cheddar is one of the oldest cheeses in the world and is produced all over Ireland.
You'll find that many Irish people enjoy eating out at restaurants. The best place to eat in Ireland is in Dublin. There are dozens of great restaurants in Dublin.
Of course, you can't visit Ireland without tasting the famous Guinness Beer. If you like beer, you should definitely visit Ireland. You can buy Guinness at almost any store in Ireland.
